3 Upgrade Ore Luck Improves odds of higher-tier ores Prioritize once income is steady Source-reported strategy
4 Rolling Pedestals More pedestals / more ores can be rolled at once Buy once income is steady; AllThingsHow says pushing to 5 reduces high-tier hunting friction Source-reported strategy
5 Drill Yield More value per crate Skip early in the current guide; revisit later Source-reported strategy
Tunnel / compartment slots Adds parallel ore/drone capacity Treat as a permanent income-capacity upgrade; spend time-skip windfalls on slots/expansion when available Source-reported strategy

Regen Speed shortens the wait between rolls, which is the bottleneck when your board is empty. Drill Speed makes drones crate ores faster, which matters as soon as more than one ore is down. Luck and extra pedestals start paying off after that cash loop is stable. Drill Yield is documented as skip-early.

Tunnel / compartment slots are a capacity upgrade, not a numbered early-priority skill. Screenshot-backed guides tell you to dump time-skip windfalls into slots and expansion. Exact later level-cost tables from other public pages are not republished here.

Board vs shop vs floors

This page is the upgrade board. Gear Shop items are consumables. Floor unlocks are expansion purchases with only two exact costs on this wiki ($10,000 and $150,000). Mixing the three is how players over-save for Galaxy while leaving Regen Speed under-bought. The screenshot-backed order exists to prevent that mix-up in the early game.

What each named upgrade does, in loop terms

Ore Regen Speed: more rolls per real-time minute. Drill Speed: drones finish crates faster, which matters as soon as two ores exist. Ore Luck: shifts which rarity you see; no numeric table here. Rolling Pedestals: more ores rolled at once; AllThingsHow’s note about pushing toward 5 is a friction comment for high-tier hunting, not a published max. Drill Yield: more value per crate, skip early. Slots: more parallel jobs, buy with skip windfalls.

No Level 1–10 price list

Other public pages sometimes publish a full cost-per-level grid. This wiki does not republish an unverified Level 1–10 cost table. Early prices visible in a reference screenshot are not extrapolated. If you need a number the documented table does not have, the field stays blank.
