AFK & Offline Earnings
Is AFK allowed?
Yes. The official Roblox description confirms the experience is AFK-friendly and that the base earns while you are offline. This page does not invent an offline earnings cap, a maximum AFK duration, or drone rarity tiers.
Setup before you leave
- Fill every available pedestal/compartment with an ore. Empty slots earn nothing.
- Keep drones assigned. Drones are the official automation layer.
- Prefer Ore Regen Speed and Drill Speed over Drill Yield for AFK, because the bottleneck is “are new ores appearing and being crated?”
- Optional: fire a Growth Gem for a short regen burst if you already own one (EXPANSION’s Small Growth Gem is the cheap official-adjacent start).
- Optional: start a Fuser job only if you have confirmed the in-game timer — the 12h figure is community-reported/conflicted.
Time skips
Community-consensus codes include 6h and 24h skips. Use them on a loaded base, not an empty Floor 1. Redeem steps live on codes.
What we will not guess
No offline percent, no “AFK zone,” no executor/auto-farm instructions. If a future official note publishes a cap, it will be dated and labeled Official. Until then, treat offline earnings as real-but-unquantified.
Why the official wording matters
Plenty of Roblox experiences punish AFK. Sell Ores’ official description does the opposite: AFK is allowed and the base earns offline. That is an Official badge fact. It is also the entire official statement we have. There is no first-party number for “how much offline,” “how many hours,” or “which drone tier keeps working.” This guide therefore tells you how to leave the base in a working state without pretending we measured a cap.
Regen, speed, slots — the AFK trio
Ore Regen Speed keeps new ores appearing while you are away. Drill Speed keeps drones converting those ores into crates. Slots/compartments determine how many jobs exist in parallel. Drill Yield can wait; it only changes crate value after a crate exists. Screenshot-backed early order already matches this AFK trio: regen first, drill speed second, yield later.
Pets that help an unattended board: Snail (cuts a random growing ore’s remaining growth time), Goat/Cow/Triceratops/Brachiosaurus (instant grow), Elephant (cuts all growth times), Velociraptor (two-minute growth skip for all ores). Those are documented abilities, not an AFK tier list. Gorilla’s +100% drone speed for 20s every 150s is the strongest documented drone-speed burst if you already own it.
Codes that look like AFK tools
Community-consensus time skips: ROBLOXSERVERS 24h, SORRYFORDATA 24h, ALMIGHTY 6h (majority; one source says 24h), BALANCE 6h. Official-description codes RELEASE and EXPANSION are cash/gem, not skips. Disputed FINALE / SECRETCODE / ANOTHERONE stay out of an AFK routine until you test them. Redeem in Settings, then immediately fill pedestals.
Fuser while AFK
You may start a Fuser job before you leave only after you have read the live tooltip. A 12-hour community default exists in our timer tool so you can plan a session, with a visible conflict warning. Do not set an alarm on 12h as if the developers published it.
