Mutations & Multipliers
Shop coating ladder from Rusty to Galaxy. Natural mutation odds are not verified on this wiki, so they are omitted rather than guessed.
The documented multiplier ladder
Rusty x1.5, Frozen x1.75, Crystal x2, Void x2.25, Alien x3.25, Galaxy x5. Galaxy is the strongest documented shop coating.

Cleanser
Ore Cleanser costs $1,000,000 and removes a mutation from an ore. Use it when a low coating is blocking a better one — this wiki does not claim the game auto-upgrades shop coatings for free (T-Rex’s ability is a separate pet roll).
Mutations multiply listed ore value in our profit calculator. That math is a planning model, not an official formula. Pets such as Snake, Unicorn, Polar Bear and T-Rex have documented mutation-adjacent abilities; treat those as extra rolls, not as replacements for Galaxy.
How a coating payback estimate is built
Take a base listed value (user input or Nichirin $6B). Current mutation multiplier defaults to x1. Target coating applies its documented multiplier. Incremental value per sell is (base × target) − (base × current). Sells-to-payback is ceil(coating cash cost / increment) when increment is positive. If you already have Galaxy, “upgrading” to Galaxy does not pay back. That arithmetic is a Model badge, never an official formula.
Pets that touch mutations
Documented: Snake (every 240s, 20% chance to apply a random mutation to an unmutated ore, no admin mutation), Unicorn (every 240s, 25% chance, same restriction), Polar Bear (every 240s, 30% chance to apply Frozen), T-Rex (every 600s, 20% chance to upgrade a random ore’s mutation, no admin mutation). Those are not shop coatings and not natural-roll odds. They do not replace Galaxy if you can afford Galaxy and want a known x5.
No natural odds
This wiki does not contain a percentage for ores mutating on their own while growing. We will not estimate one from other public pages. If you see a mutation you did not coat, treat it as observed in your session, not as a published rate on this wiki.
