Fuser & Mega Ores

Community reports frequently cite 12 hours, but public sources in that family contain internal inconsistencies. Use 12 hours only as an editable default and verify the live in-game timer.

What “creates Mega Ores” does and does not include

Cross-checked independent coverage (AllThingsHow and Destructoid) agrees the Fuser combines ores into Mega Ores / creates Mega Ores. That is the safe direct answer. It does not include: which floor the machine sits on, how many Epics or Mythics you insert, whether duplicates are required, whether the output inherits mutations, or whether Mega Ores have their own rarity name in the ore table. Those fields are conflicted or absent. The in-game tooltip outranks this paragraph.

Why 12 hours is in the timer anyway

Players search “how long is fusion.” A widely repeated community figure is 12 hours. The same source family also contains a 16h script mention and no first-party confirmation. Hiding 12h would leave the question unanswered. Showing 12h as official would over-claim. This wiki therefore uses an editable default plus a warning you cannot miss, then a live countdown from whatever duration you type.

How to use the timer without fooling yourself

Open the Fuser in-game, read the remaining time, type that duration into the timer, set start to now (or to when you clicked). If the tooltip says something other than 12h, you have already overridden the community default, which is the entire point. Do not leave a 12h alarm running after the tooltip disagrees.

Use the Fuser timer if you want a local countdown. Duration starts at 12 hours and is editable. High-tier inputs belong to the high-tier ore set; Mega Ores themselves are not extra rows in the ore table.
